Despite the space-saving exterior dimensions, the stainless steel chambers are surprisingly large, accommodating a variety of liquids, media, instruments, glassware, plasticware and other common research laboratory items. Designed specifically for non-medical research use. Includes a mechanical and electrical safety interlock that prevents the door from being opened until the pressure has reached zero PSI.
With a large digital display and fully automatic operation, all segments of the cycle (fill, sterilize, exhaust and dry) commence and run to completion by simply pressing the start button. Features a built-in water tank that does not require an external water supply. The BioClave 16 has has preset cycle options for liquids, wrapped or unwrapped instruments and a option to add drying time to end of cycle.

Grainger Safety Interlock Switch Zamak 2NO/1NC
The Grainger door hinge safety interlock switches are designed to stop machine operation when a guard door is opened. They feature a compact design that mounts directly to the door hinge. The switches have a rugged die-cast housing and are available in several configurations including normally open, normally closed, and 2NC/2NO. These interlock switches are UL listed and CSA certified. They can handle up to 10A at 480VAC. The switches provide a cost-effective method of implementing safety interlocks.
Electron Microscopy Sciences Glass Bead Sterilizer Model BS500
Gass bead sterilizers are quick and easy to use and are compact and light weight which makes them suitable for table tops or workbenches. They are used to sterilize instruments used in most laboratories and doctors' offices, dentists' offices, clinics, hospitals etc, killing spores and bacteria within 10 seconds. All units are supplied with one filling of glass beads. Glass beads size range from 1.5 – 2.0 mm diameter.
We suggest that glass beads be replaced at least once in three months and cleaned at least once every 2 weeks. Remove glass beads when the unit is completely cool. Wash with mild soap, rinse and dry thoroughly before re-use.

When the chamber is filled with the included glass beads high temperatures (up to 300C) can be used to eliminate the presence of bacteria spores and other microorganisms.Chamber temperature can be viewed on the large LED control panel and conveniently adjusted with the control knob. The outer casing of the unit stays cool to the touch even when the sterilizer is used all day. The supplied safety cover can be placed over the opening to conserve energy and reduce the heating/ramping rate. The Micro Bead Sterilizer does not use gas flame or chemicals and is safe for use in hoods.With adjustable temperature the application range of the sterilizer can also be exanded into incubations and the decontamination of plastic objects/tools.This product is designed for RESEARCH USE ONLY.Not intended for clinical use.
